Is taking a “probation flu” redshirt. That’s good. There was some speculation leading into the season that some players might do that. I think that says a lot of how much they respect and like Coach LA, all wanted to play this year despite the post season ban.
Great start to the season. Not having seen the 3 freshman pitchers in real D1 action yet, I thought we would go 3-2, losing to Minnesota and taking 2/3 of the 50/50 games against ND, Baylor and Louisville. I would have been thrilled with a 4-1 record.
Two more tough weekends coming up with Minnesota, Ok St, James Madison, and Virginia Tech, followed by Arizona the next weekend. All the other games look very winnable now.
