because he will land on his feet, and if you're familiar with the War College, it's not a particularly hard landing. I think most would view it as a step-down from the NSC.
For my part, I just think he's petty, but he's got the right to put people in those jobs and replace them from time to time. I wonder why anyone would want to work for the man, but that's a different issue.
