The available data indicates a % of each star category become standout players. The % for 5 stars is higher than for 4 stars and the % for 4 stars is higher than for three stars, etc.
They are probably recruiting those 2 Star kids who they think/hope can become players.
Vrirtually all the 5 & a lot of the 4 Star kids sign with too 15/20 teams. Mizzou is not a top 15-20 program.
