Urban Meyer said the only question about Smith was size

Meyer was a OVC coach when Vrad Smith was a H S senior. Several years later when Smith was a senior and Meyer was at Ohio State, Meyer was asked why he and other coaches hadn’t recruited Smith. Meyer replied that Smith’s talent and skill was obvious to every one and the only question was his lack of size. Apparently, Smith was about 5-11 155 going into his senior season in HS. The reports when signed listed himm as 6-3 175. He shrank to 6-1 and grew to 190 as a college senior.
