I'm pretty sure no one volunteers to pay sales tax, state tax, or income tax.
You have a choice on the amount of money you borrow, and where you spend it in regards to student loans.
That you did neither well, isn't a tax. It's more like a massive failure on the finals.
Your anger should be directed at the schools for false, misleading advertising, and their total lack of responsibility for the value of their education product.
