Also some to do with bad luck. And some to do with Cuonzo.
The upperclassmen from the last coach Nikko and Mitch are limited
Bad luck- Cuonzo has had his most important player miss significant time in all 3 seasons. Healthy MPJ, healthy Jontay and healthy Tilmon and you are talking about Mizzou having about 60 wins under Cuonzo, compared to 27 in the 3 previous seasons.
Some is Cuonzo. In 2018 Yor Anei and Christian Bishop wanted to come to Mizzou. Cuonzo passed on both. Anei would have made the Tilmon fouls a non issue. Bishop would have been better than Bishop. A couple others that I thought Cuonzo should have spent more time recruiting are Moseley and Harris from Columbia, Agbaji from KC and Kalkbrenner from STL.
