As I said, I haven't seen them play, I'm just looking at stats.
But if a player is 4th in minutes played,
leads the team in turnovers by a wide margin,
has the 2nd worst assist/turnover ratio on the team,
takes the 3rd most 3 pt attempts and is far and away the worst 3 pt shooter,
takes the 2nd most fg attempts and is far and away your worst fg shooter,
takes the most its and is far and away your worst ft shooter,
leads the team in fouls,
leads the team in turnovers,
something is WAY out of kilter. She is clearly being asked to do more than she's able to do successfully right now.
If some of the responsibility lies with other players, I think she's probably being asked to do too much, and giving her fewer minutes and forcing the others to do more COULD be beneficial for all. Their statistics would suggest they are capable of it, and while it might hurt in the short term it would probably pay off with longer term overall benefits.
But it's crazy to look at those stats and put the responsibility on the rest of the team, most of whom are shooting better and handling the ball better.
