She may have been pretending because she thought you would wind up a billionaire and wanted your money. Gold diggers do it all the time. Or perhaps she felt no attachment to you, had guilt and decided you would never know she didn't truly love you so she showered you with fake affection. You have no real proof of your mother's intention. It felt like love. But perhaps she was that good. That, however, does not take away factual aspects of her life such as jobs she had or where she lived.
There is historical evidence of Jesus' life. But there is no way to prove He was the Son of God. That is the element of faith.
It's really not that complicated.
