THAT was the impossible dream of 'pure capitalism'.
What you describe is it's cancerous cousin, where mal-adjusted humans seek to crush one another, stifle competition, suppress innovation, and then from the back of a relatively stagnant but dying corporate body, laud it over their colleagues onto a hopefully safe retirement.
No sir, do not deride capitalism. It remains the only organic system of service and product distribution with any fairness or sense to it whatsoever. Not invented by man, but discovered and then plundered and distorted to his own sick ends.
