I get that you guys don't like career bureaucrats, but typically, they are less geared toward a particular party or POTUS than they are a "cause".
Simply labeling someone because of who originally hired them is just simple. It's just a way of trying to de-legitimize someone without assessing whether they knew what in the hell they were doing.
