what i'm saying is there's no way the government would retreat if he withdrew his guilty plea.

the inevitable conclusion is the judge denying the defense's motion and flynn being sentenced. if he's asserting innocence (which he certainly seems to be doing) why not withdraw the plea?

the most obvious answer (to me, at least) is flynn does not want a trial and is auditioning for a pardon. "this great man and patriot was treated so unfairly" is pre-written for trump.
