But he wasn’t found not guilty, either.

Pretty sure charges were dropped when the woman decided she didn’t want to travel back to Canada to keep pressing the issue.

Acting as if nothing at all happened and ignoring the whole thing seems like a poor choice on their part, and a journalist continuing to press the issue until they comment seems fair to me.
