His only play is to stonewall and the three choices you listed, which are absolutely accurate, only the judicial branch route is viable in the sense that it could happen...but it won't happen quickly.

Thus, no vote for Donnie and just allow him to keep obstructing to build the case and turn the public against him. We've already seen evidence of that occurring. It's a huge gamble but Trump has no choice.

Either way, in the process he's wiping his ass with the Constitution and hopefully his legacy will be tarnished forever. I think it probably already is.
