Skill level is also ever developing, it’s not static.
Bowers is probably the best case to look at how he developed. He added 40 pounds, mostly muscle. He also developed his jumper all the way out to the 3 point line.
Not saying any of these players develop the way Bowers did, just pointing out that talent isn’t static. There’s lots of examples of guys that look great in 1 system and bad in another.
When KA brought in Barnett there were lots of people here that thought because he wasn’t good at Texas that he wouldn’t be good here, he ended up pretty good in the system Cuonzo had.
