Part of why 2020 seemed like a huge opportunity was that there appeared to be multiple local prospects, but none who were considered the type that would garner a UK, Duke, or UNC offer.
I remember a lot of the discussion was that 2020 was gonna be deep, but not be top heavy. That kind of recruit is one people could reasonably expect Martin to land more often than not.
Then Love and Fletcher turned into blue chippers.
Suddenly that opportunity became a lot harder to realize.
