And remember, after Pickett was let go by Illinois his only real offers at that point aside from Missouri were SLU and Illinois St.

If there's one thing Martin has done at every stop, is find guys who can play and win, regardless of the competition for the players.

It's unfortunate that in the course of rebuilding the roster, he's been hit by a lot of injuries to key players and hasn't been able to capitalize on the first recruiting class.
