He was brought in MAINLY because he's a St Louis/East St Louis guy. All the NBA talent in the region is coming from St Louis. He can't recruit anyone out of St Louis. Tillmon was headed to Illinois until Porters struck a deal so their dad could get a job.

Face it he can't recruit. As for Smith he's a transfer.

Martin doesn't look like he's going to get Mizzou to the promised land. You can win the WHOLE THING with St Louis kids. But Martin can't get it done.
