I think Cuonzo is middle-of-the-pack in the SEC overall, but he's such an excellent fit for MIZZOU that there are only 2 other SEC coaches I would definitely rather have (in order):

• John Calipari
• Bruce Pearl

After that, I'd strongly consider swapping for one of these coaches (in order)...

• Eric Musselman
• Buzz Williams
• Mike White

I'd probably keep Cuonzo over the rest...

• Rick Barnes is good but he's old and wasn't great at Texas despite its blueblood resources.
• Tom Crean is good but he's weird and wasn't great at Indiana despite its blueblood resources.
• Ben Howland is good but old (would have been a great hire in 2014 though).
• Will Wade... great recruiter, not a great coach, overall meh.
• Kermit Davis... good coach, decent recruiter, we'll see how he fares at Ole Miss.
• Frank Martin... overrated, lucky to reach that Final Four.
• Nate Oats... may have potential, but I'll keep Cuonzo.
• Jerry Stackhouse... meh.
