did not include mid-Atlantic storms. So it made sense to use 150 years of similar data instead of cutting it down to just a few years and losing all of the historic data.
Are you really suggesting that the storms in the Atlantic are getting stronger and more frequent but some magic is keeping them from coming ashore? Maybe Trump has been nuking them at sea.
As an American why should I be concerned about a storm in the middle of the Atlantic? One on the Gulf Coast affects our country and possibly people I know. I know very few tuna fish and I would assume that they are smart enough to avoid mid-Atlantic storms.
