I bet this person has never been on a farm

Fertilizer is expensive..why would farmers over-use it.

farmer actually use GPS driven tractors and testing results to vary fertilizer on the field based on needs.

the feeding of daily doses of antibiotics is also a lie..similar to fertilizer..antibiotics are expensive and overuse is economically stupid..vets and doctors far more over-use antibiotics versus farmers....the article admits now 50% of the poultry herd is now raised never seeing antibiotics

Any crop land used over time requires the use of fertiliers, be it the same crop or different crops.

I would bet you the per bushel use of fertilizer is much lower on a large farm vs these small "diverse" farms.
