I would do a couple of things

1. make sure the interest is at fair market value...from my understanding they are paying above market value for the rates..not sure why
2. The loans should be held by banks, not the federal government
3. Allow student loans to be treated like any other loan..subject to bankruptcy laws. While allowing student loans to be denied on the front end


Canceled and paid by taxpayers..hell no.
