is a problem. If they knew the underlying evidence was bullshyte, I'd agree that they have a problem. The person who should be making that a problem for them is the Judge that issued the warrant.

No different than if a cop tells a Judge b.s. facts to get a warrant. If I'm the Judge, that's gonna be a problem, especially if you come to me in the future expecting a warrant to issue.
