A few things
- Tariffs, even with China, have come down over the years
- We have increased trade with China over the years
- Our companies going there knowing how they run things over there. If you don't want to risk losing IP, don't go there...there are still 7 billion other consumers in the world..y the way, it is those companies that are now getting punished as a result of Trump
- We have used China to bring cheap goods here..so it is not like we have not been part of the system.
The evidence is clear...Trump does not want free trade..he wants to be a protectionist...look At the Mexico deal. Look at what he touts so far as his "success" for China so far....specifically steel.
Trump is a government interventionist...just like you are.
