to ensure his will was actually honored by Mizzou, but certainly having a secondary beneficiary (with incentive to watch for Mizzou's compliance) was a good idea.

Seeing that Mizzou knew there was another college that would get the money if they disobeyed the guy's will, Mizzou really messed up.
