Does anyone understand how USWNT gets paid?

Who pays them? How often are they even playing? Do they have a collective bargaining agreement?
I really know nothing, just semi-curious. I figure they are paid exactly how they should be, based on the revenue they generate but maybe I am wrong. I am tired of their whining (a select few) but perhaps they have a point?
If they aren’t organized, maybe they need to be. That would certainly have more power than politicizing and insulting the President of the United States, and dividing the country in the process.
