really seen in the 44 years I've watched Mizzou, as far as how much hype versus production. But toss Jontay anyway since he wasn't even a factor last year. Outside of Kim's holdovers, there was quite a bit of talent on the team, just raw and young still. We only really lose Puryear, who was a good kid, but a defensive liability due to athleticism.
This year we won't have to rely on FR, unless they earn the right to the minutes, which obviously is a great thing.
It's eerily similar to Odom's squad now. Finally to the point of what made Pinkel successful, starters are primarily JR and SR and the contributing FR and RsFR are contributing out of ability, not sheer need because of lack of depth. I expect both squads to have very good years.
