Yeah it’s nice to see 3-4 transfers coming in here year after next with some great potential.
Yeah it sucks to be losing transfers for the first time ever under RP, like Berg, Levy, Tahane, and missing out on some other big time potential transfers.
So what is going on here? Is this any way to build a top 20 program and compete for a home regional? Isn’t all this an admission on her part that she has failed to consistently recruit top high school talent, and keep them, and build a great program the way it is supposed to be built? The current junior and sophomore classes are a disaster. And the senior class leaves something to be desired too, after Amber Smith.
I’m as happy as anyone of the transfers not eligible until 2020-21. And watching them meld with Blackwell and Frank as sophomores. That year could potentially be very special, and the one after that. Potentially.
This year is shaping up as a disaster pretty much. Who’s fault is that?
Why are we having to flail around in the transfer market in order to stay relevant?
What went wrong here and who is responsible?
