But nothing about his talent has changed in the past month. Nothing he has done has given any indication that he's a worse player than previously thought.
The only thing that's changed has been the schools he's shown interest in and what schools are showing interest in him.
I don't know when his rating actually fell in the past month, but it's pretty obvious that those ratings are not an actual reflection of a player's talent, as determined by Rivals. Someone told someone who told someone that a school was moving into the lead or was backing off, and that changed his rating, and there's zero way to actually determine whether that information was based on his talent or if those teams just decided he wasn't interested enough to make pursuing him worth their time.
