Succinctly put, it just a tad over the top, in my opinion.

I ask, if the religion is shlt, what of the follower of that religion? Is it possible for someone to be a good christian, a loving jew or a decent hindu, despite the fact that a major pillar of their life is shlt?

Can you be friends with a devout jew?
Can you respect a practicing catholic?

Or does the stain of their religion seep into their very soul and preclude them for gaining your respect or their friendship?
