Presently, you are placed on Earth, one small planet in a solar system in a galaxy. There are 100,000,000,000 observable galaxies. The universe is unimaginably immense, yet YOU know standing here on a spec that there is no God creator. You can scan the universe?
When you understand microbiology, you see that the creation of a single protein is extremely mechanical. There's a delineated process within the cell as parts are transported as if on a factory assembly line, RNA and DNA are encoded and decoded and the process is both complex and magical. This is just for a single protein. When you consider what has to happen to produce a healthy baby, again the chemical reactions, the sequencing, it would be a leap of faith to even consider this is random. The same goes for how the body can be in homeostasis.
You seem to struggle with the possibility there can be a Sovereign God/creator. An entity that if it chooses to have something look 6 billions years old, can do so. A being that can have a man be inside a fish for 3 days, a being that can create life and resurrect from the dead.Everyone has beliefs and to not believe is a belief.
You frequently post about Old Testament rules and I redundantly explained that those rules were intended for the Isrealites at that time to follow to bring their people forward to produce the Messiah. The Old Testamnet was prophecy, the New, prophecy fullfilled. With Christ came a new convenant was produced, and the rule following changed as Christianity offered a grace based theology. It's not what you have to do to get to Christ, it's what he's done to get to you. We are all sinners in need of grace and a believer is so grateful for this gift, that a true believer reorganizes his life. You forgive as you have been forgiven because of your gratitude.
Though there is wisdom in the Bible, it's not intended as a book of advice, it's the story of Jesus.
Something happened thousands of years ago. People who denied him, were ready and willing to be tortured and die for Him after the resurrection. My experience is people recant once the torture begins, these people didn't. Something shook their very foundation and the church has exploded ever since.
A Christian isn't judgemental and hates people because their sin behavior is different tha their own, You take the 2X4 out of your own eye before you are concerned with the splinter in another's.
There's much hypocricy as people in life and here are judgemental and hate filled. One poster who seems to champion Christianity calls for the eradication of people t his left. I am no different and have combatted my earlier training which often makes me react aggressively,, but we are all in a process of sanctification.
Is this so hard to believe?
