So now I count 9 softball pitchers for 2020...

and I still hope we can get another transfer who can start immediately lol.
But somethings gotta give here.

Hoping Daniel continues to embrace her role as the designated closer, she was so much better in that capacity than she was as a starter.
After that it’s anybodys guess as to which 3-4 other pitchers emerge as quality starters and which 1-2 of them step forward and make a play for the ace of the squad. The unknowns of course are the 3 freshmen, and Judge.
Overall though, even given the uncertainty about just what we are going to get from those 4 pitchers, this staff is shaping up to be much improved, with far greater depth, than the 2019 pitching staff.
