More so after hearing a direct quote like that from Levy.
WTF. Seriously she thought she wouldn’t get significant minutes and most probably start at PG this season?
With Smith, Frank, and Blackwell 3 of the 5 starters (and god help us if Frank and Blackwell aren’t good enough to start from day 1), there were 1-2 starting positions still open, depending on whether RP was going to go big (or as big as Mizzou is capable of getting) by starting Schuchts or not.
So even in the worst case for Levy, it was going to be her, Roundtree and Chavis for a guard position. There is literally no one else on the roster who would be in the mix. No one. I’m assuming as was reported that the Tulsa/Texas Tech transfer won’t be available until 2020-21.
