She didn’t feel she would get the opportunity to start and play regularly here in her sophomore season? Really? Because what, we have so many other great point guards in front of her that she couldn’t beat out? Roundtree? Chavez? Who freaking who?
She was the only person for 2019-20 remotely resembling a point guard on this team. Yes, she played out of control a lot in her freshman season and made a lot of silly mistakes. And yes I thought Pingeton often had too quick a hook with her and could have given her more minutes, and swallowed the mistakes because overall Levy transformed the team when she was in the game, was the only person on the entire team who could break down other players with her speed and athleticism.
But where on earth could Levy have gotten the idea that she would not get a fair opportunity to start here this year and play significant minutes?
