So... that .004% chance of pregnancy is for that population for the entire year...
If all 74 million women between the age of 15 and 50 (lets' call that 'breeding age') were having sex and properly using the pill and condom. it would result in 2,960 unintended pregnancies in a year.. (74 million * 0.004%)
