breeding age. For example, people in their 20s have sex 110 times a year on average. Once you get to your 40s, that drops to around 70 times a year. I think the number is lower because as you said, they were having sex with another person. But that number also doesn't include people under 18 which is probably a pretty big chunk. It's still hundreds of thousands of potential pregnancies a year even when being extremely safe.
