you only need 8-9 good players, and only have to fill 13 scholarships.

Unlike in football where you have to fill 85 spots, and naturally you have to take a lot more local kids, it's not as much of an issue in basketball. So I don't think Arkansas has a recruiting disadvantage.

Arkansas has other issues, one of which is that suddenly it's really hard to compete in this conference with a ton of successful coaches and programs. Texas A&M hiring Buzz really makes that much more difficult.
