The difference between schools is how much and how it's done.
I'm under the impression that Martin plays very above the board. It's a Keady thing, they don't really play the game.
You never hear anyone from that coaching tree in trouble or even with a whiff of trouble with the NCAA.
It's why I think as much as he'll improve our local recruiting, he's still not gonna pull in the elite kids as much as some may have assumed due to his local ties.
We'll still get the Watsons, McKinneys, and Picketts with regularity, which is an improvement. But Liddell/Love/Ramey/Fletcher types are gonna be less regular still.
The counterpoint is that Mark Smith and Tilmon are in that range of kids that are gonna be tough to keep, and we managed to get them one way or another. It's not a dire situation, but one where I think expectations should be managed.
