UMKC should do well in the WAC

The travel sucks but there really isn't much competition. There are good players to be had in the the MO/KAN region that can build a solid program there. There just isn't enough of a commitment from the AD to make UMKC into the program it could be.

Moving their games on campus into a rec center was a bad move. They should play all of their games downtown at Municipal Arena and do a better job marketing the program. It's actually a pretty fun environment to watch college basketball when they are good.
