As fans for the most part we are only in the moment, "what are you doing now and if it's not happening then it never will". Remember when that philosophy was being applied to Watson. There is enough tape on Santos to gauge his possibilities and the thing is it was as a college player. Before people just dismiss it as a lower level of play, we are moving into the NCAA Tournament season. You are going to see a lot of lower level players school major conference players. People just need to see how this plays out of a more extended injury free period of time. Same goes for Mitchell Smith. We only see he's a junior and not take into consideration he's only a freshmen where overall playing time is concerned. Look at Barnett before he arrived here as a 4th year junior. Up until then he had done nothing. There's still room and time for improvement from both. I like where we are with what we have going into next season.
