If Parker were really the best option at the 4 he would have played this year. It's as simple as that. Especially since the 4 was by far the weakest spot on the floor for us. If Parker would have made the 4 a better position it would have taken this team from sub .500 to potentially in the NIT which would have been huge for the development of this program.
Parker may have made significant strides this year, but I would still expect Tray Jackson to be the better option at 4 next year and I still think he will need some time to settle in.
