Certainly it wasn't because Puryear is good. Puryear averaged his fewest mpg this season, and those minutes were reduced as the season progressed.

If Braun had been the best 4, he would have taken minutes from KP (and Santos & Mi Smith).

To say that Braun was clearly the best 4, and Coach Martin left the RS on him, seems rather silly (unless Braun surpassed the other guys in mid Feb.)
