Well..they have now adopted this "Democratic Socialsm" verbage, which probably means they know they are not even liberal anymore.

Economic intervention continues and their predictable expansion of that.

You are correct they are trying to use gvmt power to enforce social change by force. Maybe that is the tactic they are using because the Republicans used that same tactic the other way.
