those sound like support for massive gvmt and not at all for personal liberty, freedom.

it's the antithesis of being liberal.

Which is, of course, my point.

Today's "liberals" aren't "liberal" at all.

They are socialist, mainly, they love gvmt power to enforce social change by force - not liberal concepts at all to be sure.
