I don't know that I support what New Yorkers did here, but I sure as sht found corporate give-aways as attraction policy to be offensive enough to get out of the business. We brought Harley Davidson to Lees Summit with much the same. I recall that in TN it was VW or Mercedes struck a big tax break deal and the day they ended, packed their bags and went elsewhere. I don't know that your numbers are right re: that $125k jobs at 25,000. I question that, but that is standard solid wage in NYC for the most part - good jobs, but not off the charts. It is reported Amazon paid zero taxes last year. And I can't support that.
