stadiums or anything else. Isn't the responsibility of the citizen and businesses paying taxes to fund anything in supporting any business model.

Amazon sells electronics, as an example. Are their competitors getting the same type of public benefits in their locations to get to a level, equal marketplace that Amazon got? The state of Illinois gave them incentives to build over in the Edwardsville area. Did one of their competitors get the same benefit?

If a business is viable, let it compete without any governmental funding of any type, whether you're told it is a good or bad investment.
