or just plain dumb. If trump were to build his wall, it wouldn't just be a big, beautiful wall going across their property, landowners would "lose" property that is on Mexico's side of the trumpwall (it's not just selling a strip to the Taxpayers.)
Property owners fight eminent domain actions to maximize their payout - Taxpayers frequently are on the hook for many times what the actual value of the land is (property owners battle to maximize $, rather than the actual loss of property.)
If those people owning thousands of acres of desert land in Texas wanted a fence to keep their neighbors to the south out, why haven't they build one before now?
