As I indicated below, there were basketball players involved. There always seems to be some underlying aspect or ulterior motive that isn't disclosed in matters like this. But its been proven over and over that we shouldn't take what they disclose at face value.

I would guess this doesn't bode well for Odom, and that it was crafted to intentionally be the case. Good for Martin though, seems someone wants to protect him and he has their confidence.
