which is made by Congress and the Courts that adjudicate them. Sadly Congress has not done their jobs for decades and asylum cases have an 800,000 case backup because there are not enough judges and courts to hear the flood of cases. The reason there is such a backlog is because the border is not secure and families are pouring across the border in record, unmanageable numbers. A wall in specific places will solve 99% of the flood of asylum seekers, 95% of which will be denied asylum. Migrants know all of this and are taking advantage of the situation and failures.
How do you keep too many people from gatecrashing into the Super Bowl? Simple, you hold the game behind walls, fences and armed guards. It's not that difficult of a concept to grasp.
Securing the Southern Border is what should be done FIRST and then Congress needs to do their jobs passing laws and appropriating the money to enforce those laws.
