those shots. He would rotate the ball rather than force it, and we would be in peril of shot clock violations.

It was encouraging to see Smith attack the rim on that one drive (even if he didn't finish), but that hasn't been a regular occurrence. Part of the reason his % is so high is because he is taking high quality shots for the most part, and if it isn't a high quality shot he is deferring to others.
