I have a Nest thermostat and two Nest cameras

The cameras are great. I opted to mount one in the front and one in the back, so the front and back doors are covered. Even with a protruding garage, I can see very clearly who is approaching. Don’t really see the need for the doorbell cameras. Also, I opted to just get the sound notifications. That works out because your phone isn’t blown up by motion notifications. If someone is breaking in, they will be creating sound, and you’ll get the notifications anyway.
Thermostat is awesome because of the scheduling, eco mode and geofencing. The geofencing works with both the thermostat and the cameras. When nest detects I’m close to the house (like down the street), the cameras shut off and the thermostat turns on to your scheduled temperature for that day and time. Set your eco mode temperature to only about 4-6° below the temperature that you like, so your furnace doesn’t spend a ton of time and energy ramping up.
